Goudrand Golden cubs
Pre-primary

Goudrand has its own Grade R campus which is something special.

​​

The goldencubs is not an entity on its own. It is part of Laerskool Goudrand.

​

The site includes all the facilities your child needs and more. Golden Cubs' classrooms and play area are modern and refurbished to the highest standards. The performers appointed at Golden Cubs are registered with SACE. The educators are passionate about each learner in their class and strive for each child to reach their full potential.

Costs

R800 p.m.

NOTE: Goudrand is a fee paying school.

Our Grade R Staff will be strict on this and failure to pay Grade R fees will result in penalties

Aftercare is available for R800 p.m. from 13:00 till 17:30

Grade R application forms:

The Golden Cubs prefer that the application forms be collected in person, so that guardian / parents are welcomed in person. The application form includes relevant information.

Age Groups:

It is important to note that Grade R at Goudrand is only for learners of 6 years old or turning 6 in the year they are enrolled. Learners age 4 and 5 will be placed in the Grade RR class

​

Clothing:

  • A registration fee of R500 is needed we use this to buy 3 shirts that are worn during school days

  • Mark all clothes.

  • Learner must wear comfortable clothes. Grade R learners may wear ordinary clothes.

  • An extra set of clothes must be packed daily.

 

​Aftercare :​

  • Every day from Monday to Friday.

  • There is no after school on public holidays or during school holidays.

​​

Birthdays:​

  • Parents can send cupcakes and party packages. NO ROUND CAKES PLEASE. Rectangular cakes and square cakes are easier to divide. 

​​

Extracurricular activities:​

  • We provide mini-rugby and mini-netball skills from 2025.

Theme Week Letter:​

  • Will be handed out at the beginning of every Term. 

​​

Communication booklets:

  • Communication booklets are used to communicate with parents / guardians.

  • Must be checked and signed by parent / guardian every day.

​​

Toys:​

  • NO toys are allowed unless permission has been given.

​​

Homework:​

  • Parent / guardian should keep an eye on newsletter or website regarding homework.
